£5,000 grant given to Able2B to upgrade its facility with new hoists

We’re delighted to announce our support for the fantastic local charity, Able2B, by giving them a £5,000 grant to enable them to enhance their facility in Norwich with two new hoists.

The contribution will help founders Rachael Hutchinson, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, and Jon Thaxton, retired boxer and personal trainer, to further their mission of improving functionality for adults with disabilities.

The upgraded hoists will facilitate easier access and assistance for individuals, and empower them to reach their full potential.

Rachael Hutchinson, co-founder of Able2B, said: “The hoists have allowed us to get clients into an upright standing position in a fast, easy and safe way. For many, this is the first time they have been able to stand with support. Once in a standing position, we can work on so many new areas with the client on their journey to improve function. We are so grateful for this opportunity from Giving Days.”
