Centellas-Rafol family enjoy “Wicked” supercar experience day

On Tuesday 11th June 2024, we welcomed Berenguer and his family to the 7days Performance HQ to give them a supercar experience day. We loved meeting the family and we kept hearing shouts of “this is wicked” from Berenguer when he saw the cars. He particularly loved the Lamborghini Huracan, and hearing it being revved! 

The family are supported by Amber’s Army who work with families in Norfolk who have a child with a terminal cancer diagnosis. 

Berenguer, aged 7, came on the day with his brother, aged 5, and mum and dad. They got to ride in three cars, had snacks and lunch and also enjoyed colouring in – we were very impressed! We also showed them some other cars and Berenguer managed to count 20 blue cars which he loved.

Their favourite car was the Lamborghini Huracan, which they said was better than Batman’s car!

The Centellas-Rafol family said “Thank you so much for the experience day for our family. You made the impossible possible, it was the best ride we could ask for and you all went above and beyond. We loved it!” 

Amber’s Army is a Norfolk-based family charity, aiming to ‘Create Rainbows in the Darkest of Days’ for Norfolk families who have a child with a terminal cancer diagnosis. The charity was established in 2023 by the parents of Amber Sheehy, Jon & Amanda, in their daughter’s memory. Amber was first diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2019, she fought like a true warrior but sadly lost her cancer battle in 2023 aged 8.
