Giving days sponsors Star Throwers and Finnbar’s Force Charity Golf Day 2024

Two local cancer support charities, Star Throwers and Finnbar’s Force, who we supported this year with donations and experience days, held a charity golf day on Thursday 19th September to raise much-needed funds. We were one of the sponsors of the event and also attended the event to enjoy some golf at the beautiful setting of Bawburgh Golf Club.

The event raised £7,387 for the charities!

Kile at Giving Days, said: “Being able to support both these charities at the golf day was fantastic – and it was a great day with the sun shining and everyone having lots of fun. There was lots of fun competitions along the way too, including ‘beat the pro’ and ‘nearest the pin’. It is brilliant that the charities raised lots of money from the day.”

Star Throwers provide cancer information sessions to help people become well-informed about their cancer and all their treatment options. Finnbar’s Force supports children with cancer and their families.
