We welcome two young people from The Big C
10 April 2024
On Tuesday 2nd April, we held another supercar experience day at our headquarters for two young people who the incredible local charity, The Big C, supports!
The lineup for the day was a Ferrari 488, a Lamborghini Huracan, and a Lamborghini Urus, and both individuals had the opportunity to enjoy rides in these impressive cars. Additionally, we took them for a tour around the compound to show them more cars, including the RT3 GS which they were thrilled to see.
Following the exciting rides, we enjoyed lunch together, discussing the cars and learning more about The Big C and the incredible work they do.
Corinne Cambridge, support and information officer at The Big C, said: “I loved seeing the massive smiles on their faces stepping out of the supercars; the experience made us all grin from ear to ear!”
One of the young people commented: “Honestly, I would like to say thank you again, it was such an amazing experience and the staff we met were amazing, they made us feel very welcome and made the day very enjoyable. I genuinely had a lot of fun and learnt so much about luxury cars that I definitely would love to drive one day!!”
The other young adult said “I had the best day ever, lots of fun – I got to see my dream cars and everyone there was very friendly. Thank you so much.”
The Big C Cancer charity supports the family, dedicated to assisting anyone affected by cancer at any stage, from diagnosis and treatment to life beyond cancer.
The young people are supported by the Big C’s Teen & Young Adult group.
The TYA is a group of local young people who meet professionals from Big C and the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, to gain peer, emotional and practical support. The group meets once a month, sometimes online and other times in person, enjoying a wide variety of activities.
